World’s largest implementation (well, at-least one of them)

Over the last 8 months we've been working with the Australasian office of one of the world's largest companies (based on employee numbers) to implement our latest generation social business communication platform. In Q1 of the coming year this implementation will be rolled out to over 20,000 employees across Australia & New Zealand.

The systems, functionality and strategy will be one of the largest and most ambitious Enterprise 2.0 offerings of its kind. Further information is due to be released early next year.

In line with our extensive platform development (and spurred on by the upcoming release noted above) we are planning the launch of our new software as a service (SAAS) version that will be available to any employee in any company of any size.

This new platform will be known as ‘Mumba Cloud’.

Mumba Cloud has been designed to significantly enhance employee interaction through various online communication tools. It's similar to Facebook in concept however it’s completely secure and customizable.

Mumba Cloud will offer employees immediate access to the latest Enterprise 2.0 tools. They can easily invite their co-workers to join them online without any IT burden or cost. Mumba Cloud will be especially useful for companies with multiple office locations, non-office based staff, mobile and casual employees. The applications will focus on team collaboration, information disbursement, project management, blogs, group communication and knowledge sharing.

Mumba Cloud will be packaged into the following 3 versions that offer varied functionality and support:

  • The first version is free and accessible to any person that registers a valid business domain. This version will include a range of Enterprise 2.0 applications however is limited with regards to administration and management
  • The second version is available via a subscription fee and will include additional applications and a focus on administration (such as the ability to customise and moderate the site)
  • The third version is for enterprise clients and will feature our full scale platform combined with a social business strategy and premium employee support*.

*Due to the level of customization, consulting advice, project management and ongoing support required for the Enterprise package, the system will initially be available within Australia & New Zealand however global rollout plans are in the pipeline.
